Faith Formation
Faith Formation in the St. Gaspar Family of Parishes seeks to help people of all ages know and love Jesus Christ and live as His disciples in the Church. We offer ongoing opportunities for children and adults to learn the Catholic faith, deepen their prayer life, and grow in understanding of Scripture, Tradition, and the Sacraments.
For Children
Weekly catechism classes are offered during the school year for children in kindergarten through eighth grade, including Saturday morning classes at Emmanuel. These classes introduce the basics of the faith, the lives of the saints, and preparation for the sacraments. Sacramental preparation is provided for First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation.
For Adults
Adults are invited to grow through Bible studies offered at various times and locations across the Family of Parishes. Those who are interested in becoming Catholic, or who need to complete their own sacraments, are invited to join the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA).
Whether you are a parent seeking formation for your children or an adult desiring to deepen your own knowledge of the faith, we welcome your participation. Contact the parish office for details about registration and schedule details.
