Sacrament of the Sick

Spiritual healing, strength, & peace

 In the Sacrament of the Sick, the person who is ill or suffering is anointed. The grace of this sacrament strengthens the sick person in body and soul to face illness, surgery, or death. You can contact one of our priests through the parish office to request an Anointing for yourself or another who is ill.

This sacrament is intended for those who suffer from a serious bodily ailment due to injury, illness, or old age but it is not necessary to be at the point of death to receive the Sacrament of the Sick.

The Sacrament of the Sick is also offered at Emmanuel after the 5:00 PM and 10:30 AM Masses on the first weekend of the month.
